We have selected 5 sections of the river that vary in distance and are easy flat water floats, great for all ages. Each section offers the beauty and serenity of the most remote portions of the Potomac River, and offers ample opportunities to spot wild life.

Little Orleans to Lock 56
Length: 4.5 Miles
Time: Average 3 hours (On low water days this may go as high as 5 hours)

Great Cacapon to Cohill Station
Length: 3 Miles

Class: Flatwater (class 1 is possible at very beginning of run)

Cohill Station to Hancock, MD

Hancock, MD to Sleepy Creek Campground
